TABASSUM TAHMINA SHAGUFTA HUSSEIN

TABASSUM TAHMINA SHAGUFTA HUSSEIN

Bless My Life

Bless my life with your warmth,
uplift my body with your holy hand.
Make me the flame of your holy alter,
The incessant flame would brighten,
the day and night.
Light my soul with your holy flame.
let your divine hand touch the dark hour,
Twinkling stars beget in your holy bower,
The eternal darkness fades away
from your blinking eyes,
And see your light in the darkest alcove
where thy light might lie.
My pain, my darkness my sadness
would burn in your heavenly flame. .
Light my life with your blessed flame.

.

Come Secretly, Come Silently

Come secretly, come silently as my dark night's rainfall,
Like bewildered shower, in my land of dreams.
Oh! my Divine in radiance in the duskiness, touch my soul and breath,
The sun and stars will be meaningless to me.
When all are lost in slumber, engulf me, embrace me, rob me of my sleep
Enter my lonesome room, in the garb of music
Answer, answer to my endless tears and shimmering smiles.

I Long To Listen

I keep my ears alert, ever alert
At the deepest door of my heart.
What secret dialogue of pathos and joys?
Of what hidden flute?
Do I long to listen?
Again and again?
The bee turns stoical there,
For the solitary blue lotus.
The unknown night bird that lost its mate,
Sings alone in the darkness.
Who knows who He is to me!
I feel some of His presence,
The rest I only guess.
I fail to understand much of Him,
Oh, does his message find expression,
At rare moments?
In my words?
Oh! I know He sends me messages,
Under the cover of modes & melodies,
Again and again.

    1. Thank you very much for your kind comment. I m honoured and humbled to be the part of this group. We work like machine , we have become self centered. Yet there is a tiny part of us which exists in us to feel. Just for a moment forget the self and look at the limitless sky then we will be able to feel the presence of the Divine. Your comment will inspire me. This encouragement will inspire me to feel n write more. Thank you for your kindness. I shall ever remain grateful to you.
