EMEL KOŞAR

EMEL KOŞAR

The Mountains

the mountains
are far from the relieved pain
rainbow is your palms
the prankish taste of the poem echoes
tomorrows

on diamond ships the poem
is a purple violet
about the ocean night ask the beloved
handfuls of loneliness
ache

TRANSLATED BY YAPRAK DAMLA YILDIRIM

ŞİİR
dağlara
dindirilmiş acılar uzak
avuçlarındır gökkuşağı
haylaz şiir tadı anımsatır
yarınları

mor bir menekşedir
şiir elmas gemilere binmiş
dildâra sor okyanus gecesini
avuç avuç yalnızlık
sancısı

Resurrection

too short were the lives
of colors to fly away

they looked for love in mirrors
the vitreous spring rituals
on the stage
withered the jasmines
coarse
were the lips of resurrection
the nights of shame veiled
the colors
too short…

TRANSLATED BY YAPRAK DAMLA YILDIRIM

DİRİLİŞ
kısaydı renklerin ömürleri
kanatlanıp uçmak için

aşkları aynalarda aradılar
camdan bahar ayinleri
sahnelenen
yaseminleri çürüttü
hoyrattı
dirilişin dudakları
utanç akşamları renkleri
örttü
kısaydı...

Innocence

monotonous loneliness
touched
my lost steps
the smell of innocence
is inscribed in hotel rooms
mistakes were a port
in the sea of passions
suicide cities
harbor journeys in their bosoms
in the mobilization of love
and in the grip of love
stick an arrow
to death

TRANSLATED BY YAPRAK DAMLA YILDIRIM

MASUMİYET
kaybolan adımlarıma
tekdüze yalnızlık
dokundu geçti
masumiyet kokusu
otel odalarına yazılı
yanılgılar, tutkular
denizinde bir limandı
aşkın seferberliğinde
intihar şehirleri
yolculukları barındırır göğüslerinde
aşkın pençesinde
ölüme bir zaman oku
saplar
