NGOZI OLIVIA OSUOHA
Thank You Lord
I have come
To return
All the glory
And honour
To my maker,
For life, love, and health.
I have come
To say
Thank you Lord.
Adoration, worship
Thanksgiving
Exaltation
Magnification and honour
I give unto thee.
My life is a testimony
A lesson and a blessing,
I appreciate your care
Towards me, and upon me.
Thank you Lord,
For your faithfulness
And your kindness,
For your protection, guidance
and love.
I say again: THANK YOU LORD.
July
I was born in July
When God ordained it.
I was born in July
How God destined it.
I was born in July
Where God appointed it.
I was born in July
By Whom God predestined it.
I was born in July
For the generation God chose.
I was born in July
For the mission God gave.
I was born in July
To serve God and humanity.
I was born in July
To show forth God's dominion.
Heaven
Here, we are strangers
Wandering the earth.
Here, we are visitors
In a world of uncertainties.
Here we are passengers
Going on different journeys.
Here, we are messengers
Bearing diverse messages.
Here, we are debtors
Owing one creditor,
Death is the tax collector
He would take us to heaven,
But only when we have passed
well.
Heaven, is our home
If we lived well here.
But we pray for His kingdom
That we may no longer suffer
In this world, cruel and
demonic.
Someday, we shall leave
To sojourn above,
The abode of saints
The dwelling place of angels,
The home of peace
To reign forever.
We shall be librated
From all ungodly forces,
Forces that deter us
Forces that confuse us
And make us doubt God.
