KULVINDER CHAWLA

Parting Pangs

A pale ,withered
weak leaf
Fell off
A mammoth tree

A tear trickled down
The 'Eye' on the twig
Leaf had hung from
Since times unknown

Unbearable is
Parting with
A Cherished bond..

Spider'

Seeing a spider
Weaving a web
A thought throve my mind
We too have woven
All around us
Webs of many a kind

In webs so Intricate ,
And so deft
We remain entrapped
Can't ever unravel
The self woven weft

Webs of fallacy,
Fear and delusion
Of callous community,
Fondness and seclusion

Suddenly, know not why
And Intrigued by what
Got up abruptly
With emotions glut
Pulled the web
That kept me racked
and freed the spider
The web entrapped

A smile flashed
On my hitherto lips tight
While my existence felt
Feathery light.........

How I Wish!

How I wish
Someday we meet
By the side of a river,
crystal clear
With no one near..

When the birds
Have come back
To their snuggly nests
And the shadows
Of trees have taken
Heights uncanny

When the tinkling flocks
Are home from meadows
After a day out
And the sun has spread
Its sheet to sleep
At the dusky horizon

When the world
Has hugged
The sleep.. so sweet
And the stars
Have have gathered
To party on galaxy

Let us meet
By the side of a river,
crystal clear
With no one near...

  2. Jesus clearly states in the Course that God did not create this world, and thus on this basis unaccompanied He is definitely different from the Judaeo-Christian deity. The biblical God is a dualistic creator of a physical universe that he creates by the articulated word, as noted in Genesis' first account of creation: "And God said, let there be ...... Thus, this world and all creatures came into existence as separated entities, existing outside of him. In effect, therefore, the biblical God creates by projecting a thought or concept outside himself, where it becomes a physical "reality," as witnessed, again, in the creation story in the Book of Genesis.ACIM Spiritual Community
